   I just watched the Highlights of the game, and i must say, some people here don’t know ANYTHING about hockey, probably some baseball fans trying to diversify lol
   Those 50 shots weren’t allowed, those 50 shots were faught against, as well by the defense and the goalie! and they did a pretty good job, since the Sens couldn’t score until there was only 3 men on the ice! ugly win? this was a beautiful win, ya’ll need to appreciate more, this was a high quality game, that break away by Afinogenov was a BEAUTY! if that was Kovy or Heatly, or even Nash, the league would be going to church right now, but since it’s Max……no one even talks about it….shame

   3 stars : 1-Pavelec 2-Bogosian 3-Afinogenov

   Don’t even know what Alfredson was doing on the 3 stars list

   I believe a lot of the 50 shots where point blanks or from under 10 feet(i could be wrong). Apache you can’t say that this is a beautiful win. The team looked great for the first 20 minutes but after that it was a major struggle. Its great that we came out with two points but to say this was well played game on the Thrashers part is ludicrous. Ask the players, I can guarantee they did not like their performances. They are lucky that Pavelec stood on his head the entire game. With that being said, I do believe this is a character building type win, and once this team can put a full 60 minutes of good hockey together the rest of the NHL should watch out.
