I think we are better off without Kovy, my general opinion. he tried to put on the Kovy show to many times, and he liked to hover around the blue line and wait for the rest of the team to get the puck and pass it to him, leaving the opposing team in a PP situation of sorts. i love the new additions. GO THRASHERS!!! I believe he wants to see the Thrashers do well, and without him we will be just fine. Just wait until Patrice Cormier gets here. The guy has a ton of talent, along with Bergfors, Little, Kane, Enstrom, Bogosian, Valabik, and Pavelec who make up the core of young talent this crew will grow into something really special. With the money saved on Kovy we will likely be able to sign most if not all. Oh and don't forget Morin and O'Dell... Lastly...... on a personal note. I was PROUD to be a Thrashfan last nite.... THE FANS MADE A STATEMENT! What a crowd! After EVERYTHING, to get that turnout? Oh yeah, that tingling I felt was PRIDE! It doesn't matter where they would have got traded to, but to be traded away from a team competiting for top spot in the conference to anything less still has to sting quite a bit. I've always liked Oduya, and Bergfors looks like a Peverley clone. Are we sure Bergfors wasn't created in a lab with some Peverley and Forsberg DNA mixed together?
