Some news on the ticket front:
- If you haven’t heard, Flex Plans are on sale now and short of season tickets they’re your best bet for seeing the games you want for the best price. Rawhide/Ice Man interviewed our VP of ticketing (my former boss) about the plans and he covers all the perks, including the fact that you can sit in different sections for different games, going cheap when the budget calls for it and moving down to the prime seats for big games if you so desire. there are other perks too, including gift cards from The Home Depot for each package purchased.
- Whether you want to buy a Flex Plan or not you should probably enter the Pick Your Six Sweepstakes and try to win a plan of your own.
- If you plan to attend more than a couple of games this season (and why wouldn’t you?) check out the Select-A-Seat event on Thursday. The arena will be open for you to check out every seat location in the building so you can decide where you want to see the action from. Thinking about getting glass seats for a big game? Check out the view on Thursday. Want to see how the upper level compares to the lower bowl? This is your chance. Here are the details and the RSVP link.
- Finally, I’ve been getting questions about when individual game tickets go on sale. The NHL-wide on-sale date (a few teams like Nashville and Chicago are ignoring it and going early) is September 13. There will be a pre-sale leading up to the on-sale date for Blueland Insider subscribers so make sure you’re signed up.
Ben, do you know if there will be a college student discount this season?
There will be but I don’t know if it’ll be the same as past years.
