Roster Moves

The Thrashers made some roster moves this morning ahead of this afternoon’s 1 pm game in Montreal against the Canadiens which will air on SportSouth. Nik Antropov has been activated from the IR and will play today. To make room for him Tim Stapleton has been reassigned to the Chicago Wolves. Jim Slater will sit out today with a concussion.

The expected lines with those changes are:

Ladd- Little- Antropov
Kane- Burmistrov- Thorburn
Modin- Peverley- Stewart
Boulton- Cormier- Bergfors

Zach Bogosian is back in the lineup so Freddy Meyer will sit out.

Expect to see Ondrej Pavelec in goal.

Wow Slater with a concussion? When did this happen? Hopefully he’ll recover soon. We need him back in the lineup. He does well on the PK and in the face off circle. Those 2nd and 3rd lines you listed Ben sure are weird. Modin-Peverley-Stewart? Odd combo by the coach there.

Well that weird line mate just got us a goal, haha isn’t it weird how we can think players wouldn’t lay well together but the actually click and put the team on a win streak?

I’d say they’re far from clicking and good passing from the dmen had more to do with that goal than Pevs linemates.
